About the Video

“Reach Out Everyone” is a powerful charitable music video produced at Harmonie Park Studios in Detroit in 2006. Created in response to Hurricane Katrina's devastation, the video was designed to raise awareness and support for relief efforts. This inspiring project united Detroit’s legendary musical talent in a heartfelt message of unity, compassion, and healing.

Featured Artists:

  • Ali “Ollie” Woodson – Former lead singer of The Temptations (often mistaken for Otis Williams), performing lead vocals.
  • Beth Griffith – Acclaimed Detroit vocalist and daughter of Funk Brother Johnny Griffith, singing co-lead vocals.
  • The Motown Romance Strings – Featuring the Detroit Symphony Orchestra members, arranged by Motown legends Paul Riser and Johnny Allen.
  • Motown Legends – Including Abdul “Duke” Fakir of The Four Tops and others contributing background vocals.

Production Team:

  • Mark Pastoria – Director and co-writer of the song (with author Mitch Albom and producer Michael J. Powell).
  • Michael J. Powell – Co-producer and longtime Motown collaborator.
  • Brian Pastoria – Executive Producer, Harmonie  Park Studios.
  • John Mosier – Proud supporter and collaborator through the Greater Purpose Foundation.

All proceeds from the song supported Hurricane Katrina victims through organizations like the Salvation Army Katrina Fund and the Greater Purpose Foundation.

The video, filled with soul and orchestral beauty, is a lasting tribute to Detroit’s musical generosity and spirit. It reminds us of what’s possible when communities unite for a greater purpose.
